A new ring of at least 15 new air defence towers has been built around Vladimir Putin's favourite mansion in Valdai.
Fifty air defence positions now surround the Russian president's luxury residence on the shores of Lake Valdai in north-western Russia.
The new positions are located within 30 miles of the residence and are believed to be made up of Pantsir and Tor surface-to-air anti-aircraft systems, according to Radio Free Liberty (RFL), which cited satellite imagery.
