More than 82,000 properties remain without power as Storm Boelo continues to batter northern parts of the UK with gusts reaching 84mph.
Overnight heavy rain caused localised flooding and travel disruption across Scotland, the north of England, North Wales and Northern Ireland.
Scotland bore the brunt of the storm and at least 6,000 homes in the SP Energy Network areas of central and southern Scotland have been left without power.
