A murder investigation has been launched after the death of a man found seriously injured inside a bin.
The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead near the seafront in Plymouth, Devon, on Wednesday morning.
Devon and Cornwall Police said detectives had launched a murder investigation into the "suspicious" death and were working to "establish the man's identity".
Paramedics were called to the service lane off Grand Parade in the West Hoe area of the city shortly after 6.30am on Wednesday.
