حذر عراب الذكاء الاصطناعي وعالم الحاسوب الحائز على جائزة نوبل سابقا جيفري هينتون من التطور الذي وصلت إليه تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي خلال السنوات الأخيرة، قائلا: "ربما كان البشر أفضل حالا دونها" أثناء حديثه مع صحيفة غارديان البريطانية.

وخلال هذا الحديث، أوضح هينتون أنه لا يصنف نفسه ضمن المحذرين من فناء البشرية بسبب تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي أو المتشائمين منه، مؤكدا إيمانه بقدرة التقنية على قيادتنا إلى مستقبل رائع.
