Former Presidential candidate and Michigan resident Pete Buttigieg dismissed Representative Haley Stevens’ sudden endorsement of Republican Mike Rogers, admitting he was “as surprised as anybody else.” Calling the choice between candidates a clear contrast on healthcare and campaign finance, Buttigieg insisted the choice between the two candidates is clear, and Stevens’ flip won’t shift voters. “Whatever Haley Stevens says isn’t going to change that for me,” Buttigieg said, “and I don’t think it’s changing that for a lot of Michiganders either.”
