At least one person was killed and eight others injured in two nearby shootings, just minutes apart, after a college football game in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday, officials said.
Multiple shots rang out in the 400 block of Graymont Avenue near Legion Field beginning around 7:50 p.m., and officers responded and located multiple gunshot victims, De’Rell Freeman, assistant public information officer with the Birmingham Police Department, told reporters Saturday.
