At least 46 people have died after two high-speed trains crashed in Spain.
The trains collided between Madrid and Andalusia at 9.10am on Wednesday, railway operator Adif announced.
Emergency services in Castilla-La Mancha said 46 people had been killed and dozens injured but the figure might rise, El Espanol reported.
Two of the carriages involved reportedly derailed and tumbled down an embankment.
